The Duncan family founded Twomey Cellars in 1999 and today they oversee day-to-day operations at the winery along with their winemaking teams. Twomey Merlot is a single vineyard wine from Soda Canyon Ranch in southern Napa Valley. Winemaking was a collaboration with consulting winemaker Jean-Claude Berrouet, previous winemaker at Chateau Pétrus. The style is mouth-filling and fruit forward and supple with an intense black fruited character, it also shows a subtlety and restraint.
