Tinaha Naranja
The Bodega Tinaha project began with the recovery of old vines and has evolved into a producer of low-intervention, amphora-aged wines in the Jumilla region. The vineyards are farmed without chemicals, and the wines are aged in a combination of old and new amphorae, allowing for gentle maturation and authentic expression of the grape and terroir.
Tinaha Naranja is made from Verdil, an almost extinct native variety from the Levante region. These vineyards are over 55 years old. Extended skin contact accounts for the colour.
Serve at around 12 to 14°C, slightly warmer than a white, to let the texture and character come through. Try matching it with an aged cheese such as Comté, a mushroom risotto, or lamb tagine.
