All of the grapes for this wine come from the Alexander Valley, billed as “California’s best-kept secret”. It is crafted from over 95% Cabernet Sauvignon and a dash of other Bordeaux varieties and is aged for 24 months in American oak. Expect lots of that classic Cabernet blackcurrant/cassis character along with some vanilla, cocoa and some subtle forest floor notes. A delight.
