Sherwood Estate has grown from a small business founded by Jill and Dayne Sherwood to one of the largest independent wineries in New Zealand. Their success is based on an unwavering attention to detail and commitment to the Waipara terroir, a wine region on the South Island. This elegant Chardonnay was fermented in barrel and stainless steel with wild yeasts and then aged on the lees for 6 months. It’s a medium bodied wine with lots of ripe fruit flavours, an elegant mouthfeel and a long finish.
