Pallini Limoncello 50cl
Pallini has been one of Rome's most important drinks producers since 1875. Their Limoncello is built around a single ingredient: the Sfusato lemon, grown exclusively on the terraced groves of the Amalfi Coast, hand-harvested and pesticide-free.
The Sfusato is not an ordinary lemon. Known locally as the "bread lemon" for its edible peel, it is prized for its low acidity, sweet taste, and unusually large size, with a thick skin rich in essential oils.
After harvest the peels are vacuum-sealed and used within 24 hours, peeled without the bitter white pith, then infused in neutral spirit to extract maximum flavour and aroma.
Serve straight from the freezer as a digestif, or use as the base for a Limoncello Spritz, or a simple long drink with prosecco.
