Oloroso Xixarito
With barrels dating back to 1631, Bodegas Baron represent one of the oldest wineries in Jerez. The Xixarito label is a collage of the life of Jose Rodriguez, former owner of the winery, presided over by an elephant, his favorite animal, whose eye is copied from his, as is the hand that holds a catavino (sherry glass). With an average of 20 years ageing in solera, this is an intense, smooth yet saline expression, quite unique to other Oloroso wines.
