This is the second wine of Château Duhart-Milon and is selected from the same vineyards as the Château's top wine, but the fruit typically comes from younger vines in the vineyard. In the best vintages (and 2019 was an excellent vintage) Moulin de Duhart has characteristics very similar to the estate's great wine but is meant to be drunk younger. so does not require as much cellaring.
Beautiful deep dark colour in the glass. Expect aromas of ripe red fruits, such as fresh cherries and strawberry. In the mouth the notes remain delicate. The wine gradually takes on its full amplitude while keeping a beautiful harmony. The sweetness of the finish is characteristic of the 2019 vintage.
