Midleton Very Rare is one of the most respected names in Irish whiskey. Released every year since 1984 by the master distillers at Midleton Distillery in Co. Cork, each vintage is a hand-selected blend of the finest pot still and grain whiskeys from the distillery's reserves. No two releases are identical. The choice of casks, the age of the whiskeys, and the character of each vintage are entirely at the discretion of the master distiller. The distillery draws on a deep inventory of maturing stock, choosing only casks that meet the exacting standard the series has maintained for over four decades.
