The Miquel family have been farming vines in the Languedoc hills for eight generations. Laurent Miquel and his Irish wife, Neasa, are the current custodians of the land, marrying over 200 years of tradition with a rebellious, innovative approach to winemaking. La Gauphine Merlot is dominated by bright plummy fruit with underlying hints of bramble and spice.
