The Miquel family have been farming vines in the Languedoc hills for eight generations. Laurent Miquel and his Irish wife, Neasa, are the current custodians of the land, marrying over 200 years of tradition with a rebellious, innovative approach to winemaking. La Gauphine Cabernet Sauvignon is defined by notes of cassis with a hint of smoke and savoury spices. The tannin profile is ripe with some firmness bringing an elegant overall structure to the wine.
