From Mont Gras, which was founded by the Gras brothers in 1993, the Merlot grapes for this wine were grown in the Rapel Valley using sustainable methods. Rapel is known for its ability to grow red grapes with soft tannins and good ripeness. Some of the grapes are sourced from the Curico, Maule and Aconcagua Valleys, which also grow grapes with lifted fruit profiles. The wine is pleasantly complex with ripe black cherry and plum fruit aromas, spiced fruit cake and earthy nuances. Mouth filling and smooth, with ripe sweet fruit flavours of plums and currants.
