Enate Chardonnay 234
Enate was founded in 1991 in the Somontano DO, located in the foothills of the Pyrenees in northern Spain. The winery pairs winemaking with contemporary art, with each bottle carrying a different work by a commissioned artist. They now hold 400 originals, making it one of the most important contemporary art collections in Spain.
The name Somontano means at the foot of the mountains, where conditions make it well suited to vine-growing. The cool evenings contribute to the freshness of the grapes, resulting in expressive wines with great acidity and minerality.
The Enate Chardonnay is a wonderful alternative to Burgundy. It has the complex fruit and fresh balancing acidity that makes it ideal with seafood or pasta with pesto
