The family owned, fourteen-hectare estate, Domaine Jean Chartron was established 1859 and specialises in growing and making top quality Chardonnay. The Rully grapes are planted on clay and limestone soils, then follows barrel fermentation and maturing on fine lees for twelve months. This Rully shows a golden colour, warm toasty notes with a hint of vanilla. On the palate it expresses the limestone minerality of its terroir through a salivating salty grain.
