Château Sociando-Mallet is located north of Saint-Estèphe in the Haut-Médoc. The vineyards lie close to the Gironde Estuary, are planted with Cabernet Sauvignon, Merlot and Cabernet Franc. This Château makes full-bodied powerful wine, with a deep dark colour offering an inviting and complex bouquet dominated by black fruit aromas with a touch of minerality and well-integrated, elegant oak. Good grippy tannins balanced with cleansing acidity- a wonderful food-friendly wine.
