Château Cordeillan-Bages is owned by the renowned Famille Cazes, who also own the neighbouring Lynch-Bages estate, in Bordeaux’s Pauillac appellation.
Château Cordeillan-Bages 2013 is drinking wonderfully now, offering a great opportunity to try top-end Bordeaux with some nice bottle age. The impressive aroma profile and palate are still rich and fresh, offering plenty of cassis and blackcurrant fruit, as well as a lifted violet floral note, whilst also developing a savoury and spiced complexity from the years of bottle ageing. The tannins are grippy and firm: beautifully balanced wine and good length.
