This great value Gran Reserva comes from the Bodegas San Isidro cooperative in Jumilla. It’s made using 100 % Monastrell (or Mourvèdre), a grape which is known for making earthy, fruity reds. The vineyards are located between the Mediterranean Levante coast and the La Mancha Castilian plateau and the climate is perfectly suited to producing lovely wines such as this.
