From Château Rieussec, which is owned by the prestigious Château Lafite-Rothschild, this Sauvignon Blanc and Semillon blend is a luscious dessert wine. Sauternes is a sweet style of wine made with grapes affected by Botrytis cinerea (also known as noble rot) which results in a concentration of sugars and flavours. The grapes for this wine are hand-picked before a long fermentation process and 18 months aging in oak, giving beautiful results.
