This Pinot Noir comes from Buena Vista, founded in 1857 by the colourful “Count of Buena Vista,” Agoston Haraszthy. Before there was a California wine world at all, there was Buena Vista, the first premium winery in the state. Now revived under the vision of Jean-Charles Boisset, it blends Old World sensibility with New World flair. Aged in French oak for finesse, this wine suits roast duck or charred salmon, best enjoyed over a relaxed evening and in good company.
